DAWG is always in need of both short and long term foster homes. Not only does fostering maximize the number of animals rescued, it allows us to provide care for animals who would be difficult to care for in a shelter environment (orphaned kittens or puppies, animals recovering from illness or injury, special needs and senior pets), pets needing a break from the shelter environment, and yes, even hospice care.
So what do you think? Do you have room in your heart and your home to foster a pet in need?
If you’re ready or would like more information, call DAWG at (775) 267-7325 and ask to have our Foster Coordinator contact you, or email our Foster Coordinator below.
